Will there ever be a remake of Back to the Future? Back to the Future is a beloved sci-fi movie trilogy but most people would tell you they do not want to see a reboot of it. Bob Gale, one of the co-writers of Back to the Future, has said there will never be a remake. I’m a big fan of Back to the Future and I would love to see a reboot of the entire franchise. We’ve seen franchise reboots suck and not suck not much, so there’s always the risk of that. However, if there ever will be a Back to the Future remake, now is the time. Back to the Future was first released in 1985. It will soon be 40 years and that’s a great time for Back to the Future 4.

It’s 40 years later, the story is about a descendant of Dr. Emmett Brown. This young, curious kid just discovered Doc’s blueprints for the Flux Capacitor. With the help of his genius younger pal, Marty, they are able to build a functional time machine out of a refrigerator. Or something to that effect. There are so many ways to continue the lore of Back to the Future, and if done right, could truly expand it’s legacy.
